Congratulations on your commitment to making change happen in your life! It’s a great sign that you’re looking for support in this endeavor - the part of you that’s knows something feels “off” is the same part that remembers who you are at your core. You likely have some ideas about what you would like your life to look like, but you’re having difficulty implementing the changes consistently, or knowing where to start.

What is Well-Being Coaching?

Individual well-being coaching focuses on developing strategies and providing support to get you to where you want to be in life and beyond. My approach is informed by positive and social psychology research about what leads to human change, well-being, and fulfillment. Please note that well-being coaching is different from therapy and should not be used as a replacement for mental health treatment.

Through well-being coaching you may learn to:

  • Identify your strengths and values, and move toward them

  • Step into your power to create the change you desire

  • Free yourself from harmful messaging that does not serve you and keeps you trapped

  • Allow space for creativity and playfulness

  • Feel more connected to yourself and to the important people in your life

This work is personal, and it is important that you feel we are a good fit before we get started. Through an initial consultation call, we will discuss your goals and I will provide you with more information about the coaching process. I will answer any questions you may have, and together we will determine whether coaching with me will be the most helpful in getting you closer to your goals.

How I Help

I approach your growth process from the perspective that you have many more strengths than shortcomings. In our work together I will help you uncover what is already “right” with you in addition to helping you address the things you would like to change. Throughout the coaching process, I share my knowledge with you about what best promotes human change, and we will work together to find solutions that best suit you and your unique situation.

While we will collaborate on finding the best path forward, your growth can only come through your level of commitment to the process of developing insight about yourself and taking action when you’re ready. As in any other type of coaching, if you work with your coach for an hour a week, but don’t practice what you learned throughout the week, you likely won’t see a lot of progress by the following session. I will be fully invested in your growth and will be active and engaged in our work together, but you will be the one to make the changes to your life.

I firmly believe that you are the only expert on yourself. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel free to identify and own your truths. I approach our work with respect for and sensitivity to all of your identities, making room for exactly who you are in this moment, instead of trying to fit you into a box.
